Never said anything about it breaking at a stop. I was curious if guys that leave it in gear break more cables than those who go to neutral. I personally but it to neutral right before I stop.

I never go to N in a Stop or traffic lights, always in 1st gear in case I have to get out of the way in a hurry when I hear some screeching tires coming from behind

had about 28000 on clutch cable no problem - most times stopped in gear. I now have EFM auto clutch, alittle over 10000 miles on it no problem and always stop in gear, do think I will ever need a clutch cable.

Always sit in gear. Just broke mine last night at about 8700 miles. Is Barnett the best place to go for a new cable?

Was sitting at a light in neutral when I grabbed a handfull to put it in gear when she broke..

After I got rolling again I just shifted w/o a clutch back to my storage unit....

sux I can't ride this weekend..

Mine busted on my recently also I have a little over 13k on it, it finally failed I am sure due to someone putting shitty grease in the ramp assembly because there was hardly any in there when I opened it up.
