Clutch Cable #2

I was riding home from work last night and as I was coming to a stop sign i went to pull in the clutch and....yup clutch cable #2 is DONE!

Well after burning that sign and a few others I was home! So.. The first one broke in 2009 (dont remember the mileage think it was 4000ish), now three years later at 1400 miles number 2 is done.

Just looking to vent on this one since I'm pretty sure everybody sooner or later will experience it.

New cable is already ordered, another Barnett i dont think there is anything else that is stainless and 68". it's all good she is a great pup and if rear tires and clutch cables is all she eats so be it!

Man that sucks!!! How do you like those FSD exhaust? I bet they are super loud? Nice scoot!!! I was thinking about buying a set of those exhaust also!!

Honestly, I love them i didnt care for the tone at first so I added some torque cones and that did the trick! I love the look, the sound is loud but nice. frankie serrano was cool too when i ordered them he kept in touch with me during the build. There are not cheap but i would say they were worth it!

Did the torque cones tone it down any?

No I don't think so, It actually runs a lot stronger with them. without them there is just no back pressure and it really lost torque
Interesting - I have always been under the impression that torque cones are worthless.

I too have the FSD exhaust and my rear cylinder runs leaner than the front due to higher reversion rate in the rear.

I was considering giving BCT a call to see if they might have something that fits on the FSD.

found a pair of torque cones on Dennis Kirk for $16.99

I might not have made my question clear. I meant sound, does it lower the sound any?

I thought you just had a post saying you were off the pills?

I think he is saying the 1st cable went when bike was at 4k miles and the second one went after only 1400 miles. Bike must have 5400 miles now
