Clutch and brake pedal positioning

Does anyone know if the brake and clutch pedals can be repositioned as to what direction they "point"? I am having a hard time reaching the pedals as solidly as I would like (push seat on order) on my 2008 Ridgeback compared to my old 2005 Ridgeback. When I looked at a photo of the two bikes I noticed that the brake pedal and arm were in the twelve o'clock position and on my 08 it's in the 2 o'clock position. I am wondering if I can adjust their position or not?

If you have the stock forward controls they would probably be at twelve o'clock. When I switched mine to the Tribal I noticed that the clock was out a little further like maybe eleven o'clock. You can adjust the shifter side by extending or closing the hem joint ends. I don't think you can do the same with the brake. BD Performance Parts does sell a retractable kit which will bring in the controls by two inches.

I have a set of retractable 1" controls for sale. They helped alot on my 08 Ridgeback. The 08 was a lot longer reach than on the 04 i had. To make it clear thay sre not the whole kit just the shorter billet housings as big dog sells.

I have the Tribal controls on my K9 also and it did throw the clocking off. You can take some of it out with adjusting the heim joints. Nothing on the brake side.

LOL! I'm 5'7... and I was curious about this too. Any suggestions for me to reach the pedals better.. lol, when I accelerate on the highway like on my recent venture back from Morehead City, NC to Syracuse...I had to fight to keep my feet on the pegs... they kept rising in the wind..I would scooch forward every time I had to exit for gas to hit the rear brake....FREAKY! LOL! Will the push seat help me? If not I'm gonna ride this beast regardless.... Improvise, Adjust, Adapt, and Overcome. SEMPER FI!

i believe the standard push seat is 2-2.5 inches. if you need more than that, check with "seatmaker" and he can probably make you one with more push.

I have fairly long legs (inseam 34" to 36") and still had to reach for the pedals. When I designed my solo spring seat I made3 it set me an inch or two forward and added heel rests on both brake and shifter pedals. That made it a much easier reach and a far more relaxing ride.
