So just put a new clutch cable on my K9 that I got back from Barnett, the adjuster turned really smooth and had no problems with it.:D So today I need to adjust the clutch again and the adjuster would not turn easly, and I put some wd-40 on it and it would turn but was really hard. Just wanted to know if there is a problem or is it just because it is a new cable?

I'd check the clutch adjustment rod....... did it come lose ..I'd restart & adjust the clutch then set the cable slack..

The rod I had all ready taken out of the trans, I was trying to loosen the cable up. Going to get some clutch lube and try to work it loose with that. Hopefully that will work

Yea V, I have seen the jam nut tightened against the wrong side of the adjuster and of course it came loose.

Yes I did loosen up the nut, nut turn fine but the adjuster is really tight, almost like it has cross-thereded itself. But I did get it loose. Just real tight. Going to get some clutch cable lube before I put back together and see if that makes a difference.
