this is the 1st bike ive ever owned.02 pitbull 107 ss.I see the oil goes in the tank under the seat but how do you check the level? The previous owner misplaced the manual.Thanks in advance.

Just pull the seat off and look for a chrome cap (mine's chrome) they are black some times, this will be a rubber plug generaly no threads so it just pulls out. Look in the tank oil should be just below the oil cap neck. Not very high tech but use a flash light to see in there, believe it or not I've seen people check even more famable areas with a lighter.

And just checked BDM.com and of coarse they don't have the 2002 bikes.
