The clutch cable varies with slack and pull resistances. First ride of the season and had everything adjusted, lubed and so I though ready to go. At first all seemed well then as I was shifting through the gears the clutch felt stiffer. Go a little further and back to normal. after about twenty miles I returned home and when I got parked there was excessive slack in clutch cable. Before I stopped and was heading down the drive I notices no slack and the clutch seemed stiffer. It is all over the place in regard to resistance and lever slack. What the heck is going on now?
