Hello all,

20 plus years riding....had my first rendezvous with a car Sat. Had to do some pretty neat Evil Knievel $hit on the Bobber to keep it upright but we connected in a glancing blow instead of head on when she pulled out in front of me....she has a nice dent and a sweet boot mark to remember me by....I was lucky. Had I been on the Dog it would have been a different outcome and probably a bad day....

Ride safe...

Living in So Cal, I'm surprised you made it 20+ years! You can be the best and safest rider on the road but can't control with other drivers do. I'm glad you made it home safe.

Thanks Montana.....not all 20 years were out here and I agree if they had been this would more than likely not have been my first....at home in NC I worried about cows in the road and cars backing out of driveways....out here its s free for all...

Glad you made it out of th at safely. I was ont he scooter and a "Lady" just wasn't paying attention went to pull over on me on the interstate. The second before I put my hand in her front fender she realized she was fixing to hit me if I had not been watching her. Her eyes bugged out , she kinda freaked a second and said she was sorry.

You have to watch everything moving on the road and treat everyone one of them as if they are out to get you> I kinda expect to have to dodge someone every time I get out on the scooter.

Glad your ok. We all think it will never happen to us but it always seems to find us at least once in our riding lives.

Glad to hear you didn't get hurt. I'm sure she will be more aware from now on, I hope.

Women...hate to group them, but it usually is. I was riding my rocket the other day and came up next to a lady on the highway (doing 65 mind you) with her visor down, mirror open PUTTING ON MASCARA! I honked my horn, shook my finger at her and shook my head. She looked over and flipped me off...so at the next light I flipped up my helmet and chewed her ass out something along the lines of "hey, skank, you're still ugly, get up 5 min earlier and try not to kill someone! Thanks! Have a great day!" She looked pissed still, screw her, hopefully she won't end up like the lady who killed the guy while painting her damn nails.

Have to agree proflyer and if your still looking to move to dallas, I give you this heads up with women drivers, the richer they are the worse they are. Watch your dog on the north side like uiversity park, highland park, addison, frisco. Nice area pretty women but your just a hood ornament in their book.
