cleaning white walls

yea I know its not a question about my dog,, but is there anything better to clean my white wall tires on my road king, than commet & wesleys bleach white, oh yea lots of scrubing, I keep them very white, but tired of the effort to keep them that clean.. I've heard of w-d 40.. any more ideas better than what I'm doing, this is a shot of those white walls as I keep them.. Oh yea sinse that pict was taken I've got the true duals from V&H on there

I always used Wesley's unless it was real bad then I would use a scrub pad and Simple Green or something like it! Or you could always just buy black walls!!! Just sayin.....

yea I've thought of going the black wall route, but then I want mag wheels, go up to 18s .. dont want to put anymore $ into that bike thinking of gettin rid of it & replace it with a 2010 flat black street glide

Yep, same thing I was gonna say. I've not personally tried it but all my buddys with the Wide Whites use them to clean theirs. :2thumbs:

The biggest key is usually the brush you are using... get a nice brass wire brush.

I've been using a nylon brush, figured a wire (any kind of wire) brush would scratch the chrome wheels where the white wall touches it

Great look'in bike, and the whitewalls set it off. Don't change, just use the soap scrub pads for the kitchen.

I am a big fan of the gangster white walls. I always used Wesley's tire bleach with a stiff nylon brush. Spray it on, a quick scrub and hose it off.

I have always used Shout. The stuff you (or the lil' woman) spray on stains in your laundry. Works great and you can use a nylon brush.

All i have ever used is a wet SOS pad.

The best product I have ever found to clean white walls or even white floor mats is comet and a good brush.

thanks for all the great tips & ideas, but I no longer have that bike, no more white walls,, Damm I miss that bike, but its time to start over,, I'm tring to boost the economy, this is my stimuls package,, oh wait I had to pay for it!!
