Circuit Fault LED Indicator

well last week i had the bike quit on me a few times. wasn't sure if it was fuel related or electrical. I pulled the covers this morning and took it for a ride to see if i could pinpoint the problem on the EHC indicator if it happened again. would'nt you know it...i had no issues. the attached video is the start up cycle for the bike. the manual states the following for the lights that were showing:
yellow: power, this should be on when the ignition switch is in the "on" position and indicates the EHC has power.
green: controller on, flashes when microcontroller is powered.
red: ingnition, indicates open/short condition in the ignition circuit. lights when button is pressed. may flash while motorcycle is running.

it seems like everything checks out. however, when i jiggle the key on the ignition without turning on completely the red ignition light will flash very faintly.

could this be a sign that the ignition is going, and could this be the problem that was causing the engine to cut out last week. any feedback is much appreciated.
