I'm taking the shifting pedal apart. I'm getting it re-chromed. I am having a Hard time taking a piece apart. Do I need a specific tool? Please see picture
Thank you. It's stuck and won't come out. To get it as far out as it shows in the pic I had to use force. Is that normal? Is there a trick I should know about?
Heat it up. It should almost fall out. You will need to get the race out of the inside after you get that out. I heat them up with a little torch and get a socket that just fits inside the control and tap the race out.
