Chrome Carb HELP!

Please HELP! ASAP Please

Can a Carb be Chromed if the Exhaust System has a pipe thats runs about two inchs below it and not have the Chrome burn off?

what i meant to say!!!!!! with the heat tape on there and there being 2" between the pipe and the chrome, you should even be able to hold your hand between them and not get burned (too badly:roll. i wouldn't think it would do anything to the chrome.

Chrome melts at 3465 degrees F. You get your bike that hot, you won't have to worry about the carb.
