Chopper horn issues

Anyone have any idea what to look for to get my horn to work. Everything else works as it should but can't figure out what to do about the horn. It is dead to the terminals at the horn. TIA.

I assume you are saying there is no power to the horn. My 2008 K9 uses a horn relay. I’m pretty sure I recall it’s the same item as the blinker relay, because I switched them and the horn worked. Actually, mine had vibrated off! It’s located outside of the battery box on the primary side of a K9. Remove the covers under the seat to access it. The relay is available at an auto parts store for a few bucks.
If the relay’s in place and works OK, you’ll have to chase the wiring back to the horn button housing.

04's are different, no relay. My first guess would be the circuit board, there the button is. I'll have to do a little looking to find out what color wires to jump at the plug in the back of the board. Maybe someone will jump in here. Jump from the ground to the horn button at the plug and see if it works.

It will be between the gray wire and the black wire. You know actually, if I remember right, some of these older bikes, the horn was grounded through the oil pressure switch. So the horn would only honk if the bike is running.

Pull the horn wires off. With a test light, hook both horn wires to the test light, press horn button. Did you get the light to come on? Yes. Then it's the horn.

With the set nut loose, turn the adjust screw in like a 1/4 turn or less. Hook the wires up to the horn. Press the horn button. Unless you have someone hold the horn button down, you can move the screw [in or out] until it starts to buzz, then beep kind of adjustment.
