I hate to admit it...but I watched it. (& most of OCC episodes)
NOT because I like/enjoy any of the drama, but its one of the few shows about bikes & choppers that is televised. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of other options.
I HATE how they make the host "provoke" fights & trash talk. Reminds me of elementary school.
I wished that guy from Overhaulin' would of hosted it, the one who was doing the backstage interviews (Jay I think is his name).
ALWAYS needs to be more about the bikes & less about the personalities who build them!

With that said...

Paul Jr: I respect his talent of "designing" bikes, his artistic eye, & imagination. Then being able to bring it to reality. It sounds like he's a descent welder too.
But he's not exactly what you think about when you hear the word "biker".
I liked his 'old skool car theme' bike personally. Just reminds you of an old antique car with its long lines & big body. And as overdone as it is & has been, I still like that matt black finish w/ pin-striping!
I like anything with that old skool look though.
Would love to see some shots of a 50's pin-up girl on his bike!! :D

Paul Sr: I respect his past/background, & love for old skool bikes & steelwork in general.
But it looked to me like he didn't even have much to do with building that bike.
It seems like he basically just depends on his employees to design/build it, then he just signs off on it.
Didn't care much for his bike. The rear section looked cool if your into sport bikes though. The way there was no fender & only pipes coming out from under the seat.
I would of MUCH rather have seen him & Ric alone build one of their old skool type bobbers/choppers that they both like to do so much.

Fast & Loud: I think that dude with the ZZtop beard is a great mechanic/metal-worker. I also like his goofy & free-spirited personality.
Not sure what to think about Richard... I still haven't seen him get his hands dirty. Even on his own show. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Heck, I suck mechanically, but still love old cars and cool choppers!
As far as their pink bike "Fred", I LOVED it!
I don't care if it was a sort of 'restoration'. It was still cool.
If you put Jr.'s paint scheme on it, I think it would have easily been my favorite.

Jesse James: I greatly respect his talent as a metal-worker/fabricator/welder/etc. Unfortunately, I think his arrogance & "tough guy" persona overshadows his talent & skill.
As far as his bike... I didn't like it. I respect his innovative designing & metal skills on it though. But I would much rather see him put that talent into a chopper than a crotch-rocket.

i declare the winner to be........moespeed now there is a bike builder,,,
You think Jesse James blew off that deadline, wait 'till you see me build a bike. 6 weeks, fuck I need 6 years!

Only one out of the bunch I'd ride in JJ's bike, but I think he needs to start shutting his mouth. Compete with class. I have no problem with Buell builds, I love the look. The rest of that shit would make my dick shrivel when I pulled it up to the bar. I prefer to ride something that won't get me beat up or picked on.

IMO They are all good builders.
Jr.-- I dont care for Jr's bikes in general they are usually commercial-themed bikes and that turns me off. Change the fenders and bars I would have liked it better.
Sr.-- I did like his bike but the front end not so much. Too bulky looking or something. That said it was a sweet bike but not groundbreaking.
JJ-- I really liked his bike, looked like he did most of the work and handmade most parts. But again, big-twin sportbikes have been done before so dont act like its ground-breaking. I think my favorite though.
GMG- Great bike, classic chop, coulda done better with paint. And I liked that they rode it there.

What I didnt like about the whole deal was no one talked about the specifics of their bike. Engine, tranny, unique characteristics, etc. Sr. spoke a little about his but pretty much it was...look at my bike...now vote...I think they should have fired the fuckers up. Maybe put the rubber on the road a little and let everyone see them run. The show was not for motorcycle enthusiasts who actually wanna hear about the guts of the bike. That would bore the general public. Its drama and flash only. I didnt watch last year and I was disapointed this year not so much with the winner ( though I didnt like that) but just the show in general. I think they could have at least fired them up on stage.

Should we all now give you a dead line to finish in 6 weeks or are you going to need more time like Jessie?:D

I watched it .DVR.
Took all I could to not stab my eyes out with a screw driver.
If I were any of the so called builders I would be embarASSed to have my name
on any of that crap. I do hope all the teams made alot of $ on the show .
I'm a big Skynyrd fan and I thought they sounded terrible - could have been the TV
sound mixing ? ? I hope .

I like that it's a shovelhead but that's about it.
No front brake or suspension, not really diggin the pink.
Good luck stopping it with about a 3" diameter contact patch.
I did admire that he road it to the show though.

Thank God I had it on DVR so I could fast forward through all the bullshit. Gas Monkey got my vote. Clean build. JJ lost all my respect he's an arrogant dick
