Chewing up tires

Here we go again. Remember the gathering at Knottheads Maything 2023. Me and Chong went to the Smokies and road the Dragon and roads for 3 days and I shredded the tires on my Ultra Classic. Had new tires put on. Today I did 200 miles so far. Washed the bike this morning before I left and after 200 miles I find tire dust rubber on the fender. Why am I destroying tires??IMG_5855.jpegIMG_5856.jpeg

While I would have absolutely loved to have ridden with you down there, I think it was Chong on that ride.

Went by the Harley shop and they put it on the lift. Mechanic not the service manager could figure it out. They checked above the tire with a bore scope and nothing is rubbing. Belt looks perfect.

Have some one use a borescope while you are on the bike and bounce up and down a bit -- maybe a shock related issue that makes contact.

Roll the tire thru some flour on the floor than light bike and see if you see flour remove from the wheel when there wirhgt on it, push sidewayes etc.

Are you sure its rubber from rear tire?

Have you looked at front tire as welll -- rubber on the rear fender (while tire is partially enclosed in fender) doesn't seem like the MOST likely suspect.
