check VIN

Hi,
Can someone please tell me how to check the VIN on my brand new dog. Carfax does not have it. just came from bigdog to the dealer..title is being registered this week

if it is brand new and never been registered, it shouldn't be in the system yet. should it???????????????

Have the dealer pass along your owner's manual - has pictures of where to find ID numbers for VIN (stamped on the steering head), Engine (upper left of the case) and Tranny (right topside of case)...

Record all three!
