Yeah I'm totally against hunting too, what a waste of time. I go straight to the farmer and ask him where are the dumb ones..... and skip the hunting part and get right into the killing. :D

That should make one tough piece of leather for a seat, be sure to show us what it turns out like.

I'm going to my B in Laws house on Sunday and see if I can get that piece of buffalo hide. I'll take a couple pics of the skin and horns and post them up for you guys.

BTW...I had chicken tonight :)

:)I HUNT. Been do'in it for over forty years, never missing a season.
Love to get out in the woods and stalk blacktail deer and elk.
Plus fishing for fall chinook and winter stealhead. :whoop: Hell yeah.!!:yesnod::yesnod::yesnod:

wonders how much the buffalo weighed or if they even weigh them? That would be a great triptoo. I used to hunt and fish a lot until it got very hard to find a decent place to hunt and the lakes around here got so nasty signs are placed in areas telling you not to eat the fish.Possibly a lot like me cause the deer and turkeys are fighting over even the subdivision property now, getting overpopulated in Tenn everywhere. Persnally a store bought turkey taste better is much cheaper than even the hunting liciense alone much less fuel and all the other crap. I have never really thought deer meat was too good and used to always give whatever I shot to a friend of mine that thought deer meat was the best tasting meat on the planet. I don't think the only reason to kill anything is just for the sake of pulling the trigger and letting the meat or whatever someone might use go to waste. I think most of the people that hunt think like that as well. Don't waste it. A very good deal your brother in law donating the meat to the village,,
