Not a K9 expert but does it look like he may have shortened the lower fork tubes to keep the frame of the bike at the original height? Looks like another Big Dog to the right in the pic.

I didn't get to talk to the rider. I waited around for a while but they never showed back up, then my buddies wanted to leave.

He has more frame clearance now for sure.

My friend who owns CamTech Baggers out of Summerville, SC checked it out too. He said let me know when your ready to do something radical to yours.

Just don't get the whole big wheel thing. Saw tons of them at Myrtle myself. Guess the ass for every seat fits?

The beauty in anything, be it a woman, architecture, car, etc., lies in the proportions of said object and design. That front wheel completely screws up the proportions of an otherwise well-proportioned bike. Of course it will get attention, but not for the right reasons as far as I'm concerned. Big Dog bikes are very well proportioned stock - it was just that the price was a little out of proportion to most people's take home pay :)

I seen another K-9 where the dude did this, I think he left the fender off though. I'm not a fan of this myself...

I wonder if he has one of those kits where he can bounce the front end up and down :D
