Do remember when I bought my 05, that was one of the selling points listed in the brochur, something along 12 plates to holding more HP and Torque!

After getting a chance to ride a little with the soft pull clutch I can say there is a couple of things noticably different. As expected the clutch is easier to pull but it still has a good stiff feel to it. I can ride with it and not get the sore wrist as before. The other thing is the tranny is easier to shift. It feels more like the 5 speed felt on my old 99 vintage sport. I had been thinkin the 6 speed was kind of stiff. All the stiffness went away. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing in terms of clutch slippage. I am just hoping BDM has enough sense not to un-improve anymore clutches. 
I am not a drag racer but I haven't noticed any slipping yet. Overall I am happy with the new clutch.

How did you remove the ferrel from the clutch cable in order to remove the ramps. Have my 06-K9 down with 6 steel plates that are warped, so I need to go BD-soft clutch or Bandit.
