And it looks like it's set up for an old school wire job 7 grand for a motor and gearbox and ready to roll :up:That's one hell of a deal. You could resell the parts on Flea bay for a lot more than that.
And what would it be worth when finished? No title? And it looks like it's set up for an old school wire job 7 grand for a motor and gearbox and ready to roll
About a grand in partsAnd what would it be worth when finished? No title?
I'd be happy to check it out if you like? It might be exactly what ur looking for...?If I lived closer I'd give it some serious thought.
You would get a MO with a motor and trans so it would be titled as a custom build. My CL had a Harley 103 motor and 6 speed trans for $3500 last week. He also had the Harley title for $100 extra. So for around $6k you could have one hell of a bike. And what would it be worth when finished? No title?
Title goes with the frame in California. Was riding my HD and got hit by a car. Trashed the frame and I replaced it. Had to get a Special Construction Registration Plate attached to the new frame. You would get a MO with a motor and trans so it would be titled as a custom build. Pretty much the same here in Ohio. I switched cabs on a burned out dump truck a few years back. Turned into a real hassle getting a title and I had a salvage title to start with. They wanted to know where every nut and bolt came from. Never again for me.Title goes with the frame in California. Was riding my HD and got hit by a car. Trashed the frame and I replaced it. Basically the same in Fl. As long as you have receipts for the main parts you're good to go. Since I built most of my bikes I've been through it many times. You take the bike to the sheriffs office with the receipts and they check the numbers and give you a sticker to put on the bike. Then to the DMV where they will title it.Title goes with the frame in California. Was riding my HD and got hit by a car. Trashed the frame and I replaced it.
