Looks like my stator went on my 08 K-9.

I like to replace the stator and regulator paired (habit)
BDM has the stator but not the regulator listed for my bike.

Has anyone installed a Spyke 32A system in a 08 K-9? I can get the whole thing stator, rotor, regulator all for around $205.

Thoughts?

No offense Mike, but that's like saying, I have engine damage, I think I'll go thru the new transmission I just bought. Or, my volt/reg went out, I'm going to change the stator too.

Personally, why look around to change a good known part? The stator is the problem. The v/reg is still going to know 32amps is the stator no matter who makes it.

It's an old habit from car days. I had my share of generators that when they went bad damaged the regulator and then had to change it shortly after anyways.

I went with a 32 amp stator, cover & voltage regulator from harley... works great  Check with Wild Steed Worx, they have the 32 amp system for a lot cheaper then I paid

Wild Steed can get you into a complete Performance 38amp system for 225, non california residents, out the door.
Includes chrome plated rectifier.
