charging system

Hello fellow Big Doggers! i am im need of help. I recently bought a 2001 boxer. it is sort of a project. Hard starting. checked stator and it is not charging. was wondering how do i find out if it is a 22amp or higher charging system? thanks in advance

Are you looking for rotor/stator or the complete kit with rotor/stator and VR?

40 amp 3 phase charging system (BEST)

32 amp Charging system with series type CompUFire VR(Better)

38 amp charging system (Good)

32 amp charging system (OKAY)

this is what i found when i opened her up!!!! Only way this will produce a charge is if it got hit by lightning!!!

There is something else wrong to cause that kind of damage.

The "dents" on the rotor had ben sheered off... many people had this happen to them.... I wonder what the cause would be?

In this case the Engine Sprocket nut came loose.
This allows the rotor to start moving leading of course to eventual failure.
This situation was clearly allowed to go on for far too long

Recieved new charging system from WSW today. now if the rain will slack off for awhile maybe i can get her running in the next few days. Thanks to KaptinAmerika for coming thru in a clutch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
