Changing rocker boxes

I just ordered a set of rocker boxes and covers to convert from TP to S&S boxes. I have a source for new roller rockers and shafts. Do i also need the part that sits on top of the box that holds the roller rockers or can i use the ones that came stock?

As far as I know you need to get the whole enchilada. When I did mine it came complete as one set up.

If it's a stock 05 motor / cam, and your happy with the performance, you can use non-roller rockers and save yourself $200 +. No need for the rollers until you go to a larger cam (585 or above).

If you already have a lot of miles on it, you may want to pull heads and check the guides and or replace the springs.

Thanks Relic, i hadnt even thought about non roller rocker arms, saving $200 is always good. My last 6 bikes were all Harleys, so yeah i'm real happy with the torgue of the big dogs 117". I bought the bike over the winter with 1100 miles,so i was gonna gamble with the stock valve guides. If i save the money on the rockers though, i might just go with new guides and springs.
