Changing fender struts

I was thinking of changing the fender struts on my 2002 Mastiff just for appearances. They are straight, and struts on more recent bikes have nice curves to them. I was wondering if anyone knows if the struts off newer bikes will fit the 2002?

I would say no. Yours are standard HD style parts. So with that in mind (if its confirmed truth) your aftermarket options would be nearly endless.

I have a set of painted struts that I took off of my 04' Pitbull if you want them to mess around with.

I have no use for them. -----They're not set up for a sissy bar just in case it was something you were looking for.

I just bought a sissy bar and rack. BDM says no other struts from BDM fit. I think I will explore the aftermarket. THis is not a high priority, just planning for the winter (new pipes; air clearner cover, etc.) Thanks for all the input. J

"Jerry, the struts from the later model Mastiff will not fit your 2002.
the frames are completely different."
