Change transmission fluid

I put in spectro full synthetic transmission 0. 75w140. When I go through the gears and I get the fifth gear it makes like a like a grinding sound. Looks like I got the right amount of fluid in maybe a little over. Not sure if that would make it sound like that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, fellas

Did you have the problem before you replaced the fluid? I would be more inclined to think your issue could have more to do with a clutch adj or maybe a trans shift linkage or shifter pawl adj. This file may help you.

No I didn't have any issues before. I changed the fluids and then and it made no noise. It's just weird when it gets to 5th gear. It has a like a scraping sound but when I put it up on a jack and ran through the gears not under load. I didn't hear it just when I ride it

When I ride it it sounds like it's coming from the motor like the heads but when I pull the clutch in and give it gas it's not. So maybe it is the transmission or the bearings going bad in the 5th gear. I have to check that out. Thanks for the info
