This is sweet.....dont have to buy a new gasket, saves time also. My 08 ridge has the drain plug in front and as we know you only get what 6-8 ounces through that. I used an oil dip stick vacume pump (hand pump) You can thread the suction line to the bottom of the rear well by inserting it towards thr back right of the primary rear well. I measured what I got out and total was EXACTLY 32 ounces from the front drain well and the rear well. (just need to remove the inspection cover)

Happy Happy. If you can not find the dip stick pump anywhere local try WESTMARINE or OVERTONS online...like 30 bucks. Iv used this little gem for quite a few things. I think maybe Northen Tool or Harbour freight has them also...try those two first....cheaper.

When changing your primary oil its a good time to check your Clutch basket and chain , But good find .. I use a air operated pump that runs off my compressor to change differential oils and it works well to pump the fresh oil in the Vetts hard to get to fill on the Differential ...but on the dog I just pull it all apart inspect everything clean and reassemble..

The pump is neat, but I am in agreement with Scuba, a quick visual of chain tension and shoe plus a look at the clutch is a good idea.

Same with Scuba, remove the whole cover, check the adjustments and shoe. Clutch basket and nuts and then new gaskets, new oil and happy to go for another 5000 miles or so.
