Are you talking about the primary? If so, then yes... For the Trans you should use 75W 140...

I agree for the trans use a heavier weight 75w-140 trans or gear fluid (I use spectro). For the primary I would use something specifically made for primary fluid like Bel-Ray. I tried ATF type F like many suggested on this forum but had clutch slippage. Switched to Bel-Ray and been fine ever since. Good Luck.

Same to me with the ATF-F.
Put in Spectro and everything was fine.
