Well, for one, I just ordered Shinko tires and want to make sure I have room.
The beauty of HD is the slow evolution of the engine family and parts off the shelf are the same from years ago. Smart. So HD wise, belt to chain is just a link away.
Here is just the thought of the Shinko vs Spline. Or the analogy is the Cup vs Plate. Kind of drill the bottom of the cup, file teeth across the cup, throw it on the spline out onto the output shaft. You are stuck more on the Shrinko tire. We now drill and tooth file the dinner plate.
Cup, look at how far away from the tire to spline and you can throw that cup out to a 16oz, rather than an 8oz cup worth of Eric's. Tell your friend to cup up to a fatboy belt. JK. But call Eric and tell him to take his engineering? No shit? Belt Break Buellshit? See how you have so much spline and this might tag the larger tire to spline no cup?
And then there is the shim of the back of the sprocket out. It was locked spline to spline, meaning, full foot to foot pattern on the load. Shim out, you have that tiny walk of the end of the spline is about to step the spline on the sprocket. Now, go back behind the washer, or should I say, stand between the shim washer and sprocket, look straight down and see the matching step of being out of step, clap on clap off is how do you stop; load up-load off/hit brake = dig-hit throttle = dig. Ya Dig?
And then, and then, well shit that smoking down the road, the mosquito committee wants to hire me. I better put the OE sprocket back on. Fuck, the step is stopping me from, shit, I had to be the engineer of Shinkgo I go.
