Chain conversion has taken place. Went with a 23t pbi with .500 offset ( I ordered the wrong sprocket, should have been a 24t). Rear sprocket was a Drag specialty 48t 1/4 dished offset. Sprockets aligned perfectly. Regina o ring chain. Clearance issue on bottom of from pulley cover and shaved until chain cleared. I must say, this should have been done long ago. Throttle response is much better, and the feel of the torque transfer is improved. It's amazing how much shock the belt absorbs. In 3rd or 4th roll on I can feel the rear tire trying to break out on rippled or slightly bumpy pavement. 2nd gear hole hole shot is deadly. I will be going to a 24t front and a rear 49t to eliminate the clearance isse on bottom of pulley cover. With the 23t/48t at a true 60mph the speedo shows 65-66. With the 24/49 I should cut that in half and only be 3-4mph off. These bikes run so much better geared slightly lower. Power band is more usable without having to downshift and the pull from a roll on is unbelievable. Conversion cost $260.00. Bye Bye Gates. Keep ya posted
