Hello guys,

Hello,

my name is Alf and I was very interested to get access to this forum.
I bought a Big Dog K9 one year ago.
Currently I'm working in Tennesse as German engineer, but next year I have to go back to Germany.
I would like to take my bike with me. For the homologation in Germany I need a letter "Certificate for Confirmation".
Do anybody know from whom can I get this??

It would be very great if somebody have any idea or contact address!

Thanks
Alf

Can you call the Ministry of Foreign Affairs....? Something to do with confirmation of Title, Manufacturer, emmissions and such...
Not real sure.... I hope someone on here knows or can help... sorry dude.

Love your country, though... I lived there for a few years and LOVED IT! Good Luck to you! :2thumbs:

Try calling Thunder Cycles in Florida, or Strokers Dallas. Surely one of these two have had dealings with this before. Ask for Amy at Strokes, She's fantastic to work with!

Search through this site for Milco he's a member and I have seen some threads where he is talking about this topic with others from the EU. I guess each country has a variety of requirements and it seemed to take him a while to get his done in Holland, and even may have had to do it in Germany.

Good Luck and welcome to the site. You should post up some background info in the introductions section about your bike and this will help you to make friends. When you do post that you are german and our international members will likely chime in to greet you.

Welcome from Spain. There are a couple German members in this Forum... they might know something about this matter?

That's correct, contact Milco and Germanbiker. They both went through that process. I believe Germanbiker knows of a guy in Germany who can mod your scoot to German specs once you get it over there...:2thumbs: By the way welcome to the site, hope you enjoy...
