That looks like a gorilla trailer lock

I first got one of those bail style locks until a buddy at work told me he had a brand new one when his trailer was stolen, so back to the store IT went and I saw this one. It was more $$$, but ya get what ya pay for. I think the most this lock will get is a passing glance from thieves.....oh and I ran the jack to the top and pulled the handle off too!

This is what I use when the trailer is sitting....use a hitch pin lock while hauling.

I think we'll rent a trailer for the bikes.. Any tips on securing a trailer (other than good chain and lock)? We're going to bring them all. Should be fun and looking forward to meeting everyone.
