Carburator overflowing

No, probably the change in hose was some debris ran down the tube, is not small enough to pass thru the float needle, so the deal with this is just drop the bowl, pull the pin or if it's screwed on like, you'll see the design, drop the float, pin, needle, and now turn the gas on and see if this flushed it out.

Next is to reinstall as removed, rise the float up on its pin, turn the petcock on, lift the float so you close the needle and no flow should happen. Install bowl, no adjustments needed.

Installed a 90 degree fuel inlet on 08 Pitbull super G, now carburator overflows when gas is turned on. Does float need to be adjusted after changing fuel inlet,
I'll tell ya exactly what ya did, you knocked the needle valve off the float, I did the same thing. Pull the bottom of the bowl off and remove the screw holding the float pin in place, hook the needle valve back on and install the float back in the bowl. Be very careful when assembling it back together that you don't loose the little blue o-ring to the accelerator pump. I had to remove the gasket from the upper part of the carb and install it on the bowl making sure the o-ring is above the gasket and reassemble. Whallah, all fixed, don't ask how that came off cause I don't know how it came unhooked but it did.

Ker, you are right on the spot. removed the bowl and found the needle onnthe bottom of the bowl. Also have a blue washer, did you say it goes on the accerator pump rod.

Thanks for you help

Yes, but the o-ring should be on top of the gasket, that's why I said to take the gasket off the carb and install it on the bowl, then put the o-ring on, you will see what I mean once you do it.:old2: it goes on the top of the post.
