Carburater vent????

I tried searching for a previous post but not sure what its even called but I just bought this bike and it has a brown plastic tube coming from the carb, figure its a draining thing, there must be something better than that brown tube and also read some post about puke cans can someone steer me in the right direction?

People who are using puke cans are not running the breather hose into the air cleaner and use the puke can to catch any oil blowing out.

Its an overflow tube, it yellows or browns from the heat. Take it to home depot or lowes and match the size. The new tube is clear.

some have also found the correct size in braided line to match the rest.

Any clear hose over time will turn yellow or the fuel vapor changes the color. Look for black hose at some auto store. What will black do? It will swell from the vapor, fall off the nipple, etc.

Do yourself a favor... Don't look at it as something needs changing. It is what it is. It's normal in other words.

It does NOT need to be clear... there are plenty colors to choose from. my one is blue at the moment! :up:

Thanks for putting me on the right track, I will just replace the hose with another , braided line would be cool but if not a clear or colored tube will be fine.

Its to cold and their is to much snow but I want to be ready when the weather breaks

I've just covered the line with a braided sleeve. You can find it on ebay. For example;
