Bowhunter Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2012 #5 Check this out: http://www.sscycle.com/expview/exp_viewview.php?s_id=6 If you only removed the four screws which hold the bowl, there should be no bearing to fall out. Like Ray said: Looks like the accelerator pump is the source of the bearings.

freewood Member Dec 30, 2012 #6 yes that's it alright,was one hell of a balancing trick to put back together while carb was still connected to the bike. Now all good cheers guys

hoat Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2013 #8 take the carb off the bike and go to the s&s site and put it back together. there is a tiny spring in there as well.
