Carb Vent tube

This may seem like a simple question, but I'm looking for a replacement for my carb vent tube. I know I can get some at one of the big box stores, but I'm concerned about the temperature rating. I don't want to get something that is going to melt on the jugs. I believe it's 1/4" but other than that, I need some guidance.

Thanks,
Keith.

Good ole clear silicon hose will work just fine. Re-route the line to keep it off heat sources ifn needed.

Thanks for posting this John. One more thing to add to my next order from WSW.
No problem Paul, I just got my updated pressure plate, throwout bearing, spring, new chutch cable and a few other goodies, super fast shipping! I can always count on Curtis to get me what I need in a timely manner! :old2:

Yep, it's always good to support the local vendors. They may be a tad higher than some of the bigger shops but the big boys won't give you there phone number unless it's an "800-goodluckwhoyouget"that's looking up stuff from a cheat sheet.
That's what I have always tried to do was support local businesses, when I rode dirt bikes there was a small local shop that was just a bit more money, but the service was unmatched! You just have to understand that nobodies perfect and sometimes shit's gunna go south, but as long as they try there best to right the situation it's all good in da hood!

If it was done right the 1st time, and that's rare, there would be no need to resolve issues the 2nd and 3rd time.
I've used him in the past, he just needs to step up his game.

Sometimes I need a parts that day, and have to get it from Gateway in St. Louis. I have a friend that works up there and can pick it up and bring it to me. Curtis is definitely cheaper than Gateway is. Even with shipping on top of it.
