Carb. Support Bracket

Energy One
When I first joined the board and posted some pics of my Dog Raywood quickly noticed I didn't have a support bracket on my D&M Raptor air cleaner (and still had reflectors:eek: ) Mentioned it could cause problems down the road. Contacted Nelson at WB Cycles and he hooked me up with the bracket and a great price. Thanks guys

Better had gotten rid of those reflectors because they could cause problems down the road!
Probably some night when you walk out of a bar and one of us sees you still have reflectors on your ride!! :D :D

Mick, nice looking bracket and some extra "bling". :D However, I must note that I never say anything about the reflectors or the horizontal plate! Got enough Knuckleheads on here commenting on those two things!!!

Glad you got that carb supported though. Will appreciate it later when you may have had intake seal problems.

My bad Ray, I think you were the only one who DIDN'T say anything about the reflectors and DOT sticker.

does that bracket normally come with the Spike? My dealer installed mine
and I don't have one either.

I bought my K9 used and it was already on the bike, but after Raywood mentioned it could cause intake leaks down the road I got to checking around and D&M sells the bracket and the air cleaner seperately. But there web site and install instructions states that the air cleaner is suppose to have the bracket. I can see why after pulling the spike air cleaner off, that thing is heavy. I thought it would be light. Glad Ray mentioned it and I got the bracket. I think it would save alot of problems down the road. Theres alot of vibration. Contact Nelson at WB Cyles and he will do the research and get you the correct bracket and has the best prices. Hope this helps.

Yeah without the bracket you have the weights of the intake, the carb, and the spike... all hanging off the intake flanges.
