Carb still puking on the exhaust

I did the reroute of the rocker box down to the ground and I am still getting some puking onto the rear exhaust. Is there some possible oil left over in the air filter? When I did the reroute I did clean the filter and the air cleaner and housing so I am not sure where the puking is coming from.

Thanks
Rich.

Carb would be puking gas. Have you checked the filter to see what it is?

The Breather vent from the rear rocker box originally vented into the air cleaner. Pull the cover and see which it is.

I also did an intake/exhaust change and had thought I had a leak. Upon further investigation the crap that was on my exhaust and belt guard and transmission was in fact condensate blown off of the carburetor.
The science learned in school taught the Venturi effect and the cooling of expanding fuel condensing on the carb body was making the damned annoying spots.

Had the same problem. Took a Maxi Pad, cut it down and stuck it along the bottom of the carberator cover. Don't even have to change it monthly.

Re. Popsicle069 Carb Still Puking On Exhaust

:damnit: Pop I`m sorry that You have still have problems with your exhaust fouling the right side of your scoot. As I have previously stated the expansion of the fuel in my Super "G" cools the carb body condensing the miosture in the atmosphere and travelling down the road blows the water onto various parts on the right side of my K-9. When it dries it leaves all these little fucking spots all over the brightwork on the right side of my bike.
Thank God that my scoot isn`t on the rag causing the need of a Maxi-Pad
:lol:to be laid on the bottom of the breather.
Sorry 01Mastiff I just couldn`t pass that one up, especially when you laid out such a creme puff. The puking out of the breather, for many, is a very real and exaspirating problem. It really manifests itself when you twist the throttle a little more than just cruising speeds, if you know what I mean. I hope those of you who are suffering from this malady find a satisfactory solution.:flag::cheers:

Tom thanks for the reply. I am not sure but I don't think that my problem is condensation that you are describing. The puking leaves an oily residue and leaves like trails not just spots. The residue gets on the rear exhaust, the belt cover and the battery cover on the right side. I talked to a mech. and he thought that it might be gas from the float bowl not being set right and then mixing with the filter oil.

I am planning on checking the level of the float and switching air cleaners shortly so I’ll see what happens from there.

Again thanks for the help. Rich

i just started gettting this same problem.
i recently knocked the baffles out of my stock exhaust and did notice a loss of compression. with that i had adjusted the carb.
took a pretty good ride the other day and noticed what looks likes drops of oil on the exhaust and covers. it came off easliy with some cleaner.
it looks like its collecting on the inside of the air filter cover and seems to be from the mods as it was not happening before this. maybe today I'll pull the cover and see whats doin.
