Carb Question

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows what kind carb I should have on my bike. I have a 2006 BDM Mastiff. It originally was the TP Engineering head type. It seems I bought what S&S called BDM's EPA regulated style bike in South Carolina which has no emission inspections btw. Well a couple of years ago I got S&S to send me everything I needed to de-regulate my bike, except the carb. I'm pretty sure I have the Super E on mine as that was the standard for all detuned bikes. I'm wondering with my retuning my bike back to the S&S heads and everything else what type carb do I need. Now I did go bigger on the cam since it was being replace also, and from what the S&S guy told me this was the biggest cam I could just bolt in without having to have the heads reworked, bigger springs and stuff put in. So, Super E or Super G, cause I really want a new Air Intake. lol

Super G is what you should have. I am sure its what you already have in there anyway!

It's possible he has the E, I have one I pulled off a 05 or 06 Ridge, from when the engine upgrades were done on it.

Should have came with a super G.....you can look on the side of the carb and see if its a E or G. Its stamped on the side of the carb behind the air cleaner

Ok thanks guys I will look this afternoon when I get home. I've been wanting to put a new air intake on from Wimmer, and he needed to know which carb I have, but if I'm suppose to have a G and don't then I need to replace it while doing all my factory black hose lines to chrome braided lines and replacing the air intake too.
