I disconnected all the plugs that run to the rear. Its not just the rear brakes, its front or rear brakes, left or right blinkers, headlight, anything that uses additional voltage. I also disconnected the pcb boards one at a time and didn't change anything.
Make up your mind which one it is :oldlaugh: :oldlaugh:

Looks like you have done just about all except chase out the front and rear brake switch. If you disconnected the PCB that eliminates the problem at the light housing, but does not eliminate the problem from there back to the harness coming from the EHC. Same thing with the rear brake you need to unplug that wire which is not the wire connector located by the battery. Follow the brake line till you see the plug and undo it. I would chase the orange wire from the EHC to all lights and brake switches.

I was saying it doesn't matter if I use the front or rear brake, the left or right blinker, it all kills the bike. Not that I wasn't sure if it was front or rear. Sorry for not wording it correctly. How would unplugging the brake wires make a difference if the blinkers also make the symptoms occur? This doesn't happen all the time either, some days it does, some days it doesn't.

The orange wire from ehc, is this a link between the brakes and blinkers? If so that could be an option. Whatever the problem is, it somehow has to be tied to the blinkers and brakes or voltage.

The orange wire to the EHC is from the rear brake switch, or from oil pressure switch.

Ok not sure that would be the issue than since it's not limited to the brakes. Only thing I can conclude that all those are tied into is the ehc or if in fact the vr plug could be arching or shorting out and when I use extra voltage from brakes or blinkers the voltage drops low enough for the ehc to go in a limp mode and shut bike off and go into air ride mode.

The first part of my post I was joking, I know what you meant to say so take it easy :oldlaugh: . Okay, I understand what you mean, I missed the part where you say it doesn't matter what you use turn or brakes it kills the Bike. You also say it doesn't happen all the time, that is why I am suggesting that you chase the wires back to the EHC, being that you already checked the light housings. I am thinking it has to be the orange wire which feed power to the Brakes and turn Signals. That Orange wire originates at the EHC. Follow that wire from the ECH to where it spits to the front and rear brakes and turn signals. Check for bad or worn spots on the wire. I am only suggesting to trace that orange wire, if I knew for sure I would certainly point it out to you. May not be that wire then we can move to other possibilities. At this time I think it could be that orange wire coming off the EHC.

Thanks Carlos, I will check that wire out and see what's up. I wasn't getting upset so no worries I just thought maybe I was mis wording things and not making it clear.

Spoke to Jason from kmw and gave him the brief on everything and he said it sounds like an internal ehc short that is dropping the voltage below 9 volts and giving me the low voltage symptoms( horn beep) and dying. I ordered some new jst connectors for the thunder heart module I have so when I get them I will be wiring it up and hopefully I can ride this beast worry free...finally!!!!
