Sorry, my bad.... the bolt holds the female part only.... yes, you should be able to plug/unplug.... had a blond moment![]()

Make up your mind which one it isI disconnected all the plugs that run to the rear. Its not just the rear brakes, its front or rear brakes, left or right blinkers, headlight, anything that uses additional voltage. I also disconnected the pcb boards one at a time and didn't change anything.

I was saying it doesn't matter if I use the front or rear brake, the left or right blinker, it all kills the bike. Not that I wasn't sure if it was front or rear. Sorry for not wording it correctly. How would unplugging the brake wires make a difference if the blinkers also make the symptoms occur? This doesn't happen all the time either, some days it does, some days it doesn't.Make up your mind which one it is![]()
Looks like you have done just about all except chase out the front and rear brake switch. If you disconnected the PCB that eliminates the problem at the light housing, but does not eliminate the problem from there back to the harness coming from the EHC. Same thing with the rear brake you need to unplug that wire which is not the wire connector located by the battery. Follow the brake line till you see the plug and undo it. I would chase the orange wire from the EHC to all lights and brake switches.

The orange wire to the EHC is from the rear brake switch, or from oil pressure switch. The orange wire from ehc, is this a link between the brakes and blinkers? If so that could be an option. Whatever the problem is, it somehow has to be tied to the blinkers and brakes or voltage.
The first part of my post I was joking, I know what you meant to say so take it easyI was saying it doesn't matter if I use the front or rear brake, the left or right blinker, it all kills the bike. Not that I wasn't sure if it was front or rear. Sorry for not wording it correctly. How would unplugging the brake wires make a difference if the blinkers also make the symptoms occur? . Okay, I understand what you mean, I missed the part where you say it doesn't matter what you use turn or brakes it kills the Bike. You also say it doesn't happen all the time, that is why I am suggesting that you chase the wires back to the EHC, being that you already checked the light housings. I am thinking it has to be the orange wire which feed power to the Brakes and turn Signals. That Orange wire originates at the EHC. Follow that wire from the ECH to where it spits to the front and rear brakes and turn signals. Check for bad or worn spots on the wire. I am only suggesting to trace that orange wire, if I knew for sure I would certainly point it out to you. May not be that wire then we can move to other possibilities. At this time I think it could be that orange wire coming off the EHC.
