cant get my clutch rod back in what the #*#*

Hey sup everbody have not really had chance to introduce my self my name is rob i live in salt lake city utah i drive 2005 big dog ridged back got 12000 miles on the bike have had a few peoblems but from what i read normal ware i now sick of spending all my hard ernd $$$$$$$ so i am going to try to do my owen service on this bike i am trying to replace my clutch cable useing a thread on this sight but when i got to part were it says to grease clutch rod and put back in i cant get it to go back in came out with no drag but now it is a half inch short of the threads man it looked so easy lol enybody know what it may be??? peace :bang:

Welcome to the greatest site on BigDogs. SLC must be cold still ... worked out of Logan, Utah for two months ... Anywho if it's too short maybe the push rod seat is not aligned. I replaced my push rod and my clutch. Clutch nut was loose but I love the Super Bandit Bruiser Clutch. Good luck ... you may have to open up the transmission side to see what's going on there. :flag: :D

Rob, besides the seal the opening is not very restrictive. All I can tell you is either you didn't replace the ball and ramp part back together correctly or you have the rod up to the part where it starts threading in. Remember it threads in the final part. Here is a diagram of the thing.

Sup surferdude ya its very cold right now but geting good to go for short rides

Hey raywood bad ass pic lot of help i did get it to slide in and the bike is back together 12:30 pm my time still got time for a beer :cheers:
