cant get into neutral while running

I have the same problem when the engine is running, but the bike not moving......I have heard many people talk about the same issue......what I do is, when I am coming to a stop, I downshift down to first, blip the throttle, and it will pull right up into nuetral. Hope this helps......

Regarding using ATF in the Primary, Primo said the thicker viscosity of traditional primary lube would make their clutch plates drag and not completely release when the clutch was fully pulled. That's why a lot of folks can find neutral when they rev the motor a little and yet still can't find it at idle. Also, the ATF is supposed prolong the clutch plate life. They even went as far to say, "If the wrong lube was used, the plates could become contaminated and the use of ATF would no longer help"..
They recommended ATF Type F.... It worked for me...

I totally agree with #2, but what does ATF in the primary have to do with shifting

Finding neutral.

On a fresh primary fluid change I can almost always find neutral for the first couple hundred miles then I'm back to rolling into it

Hi Rob i had a similar problem so i adjusted clutch push rod and it made it worse and i couldnt get 4,5 or 6th gear i pulled it down and found the clutch hub nut loose i think by adjusting the push rod put a bit more pressure on the nut which helped it to loosen a bit more at least i think that's how it works mine just slowly got harder and harder to find nuetral over a period of time know it perfect just something to keep in mined ( clutch hub nut likes to come loose on these bikes) Welcome
