I feel pretty stupid but I can't find the oil drain plug. I read GasMan's How To but my drain plug is not where its located in his pic (think he has on '05).

Does anyone know where it's at on an '03 Chopper RT?

Thanks in advance.

Do the choppers have the same oil tank as the ridgebacks do? If so it is on the back of the tank (which is inside the lower frame rails). Not sure if it's there on the chop tho due to not being room for rear spring!?!?!?!?!?!?!:confused:

There is a hose coming off the oil tank... there is a plug in the bottom of the hose. Simple pull the plug and it will drain.

Thanks guys. I saw the hose that comes down to the frame but the manual says the drain plug is threaded and magnetic of which the plug at the end of the hose is neither. It was also a pain in the ass to get to and I could not even get a wrench or socket around the head of the bolt that screws it to the frame.

Thanks again!

It's pretty easy if you use a socket with a short extension and go up from the bottom between the shocks.
