on the back wheel
I have had mine off the ground thru second...just keep the power on so it doesn't slam down. The 330 hooks too good. I have been known to crank the wheel up at 100 on my sport bike so be cautiuos when doing so.

I could ride some good wheelies when i was dirt biking, when i fell out of a tree it put a stop to that it screwed my back up .Doc. said to quit riding this was back in 1986.I rode dirt some time after that but it played hell on my back so no more dirt for me,but i could stand my Kawasaki LTD 550 straight up and feel comfortable.I wish i had my old high school annual I was in it riding a wheelie on my kawasaki i thought i was cool.My ex-wife the dumb bitch trashed all my memories from my youth.I wasnt cool i was just young in a small town with only a very few others my age riding street legally at 16 years old.Damn those were the days!!!Those are some good videos and its cool bdmridgeback you can stand it up without fucking up:2thumbs:

She refuses to go out with me and video me pulling wheelies and I catch shit everytime I do it around her.:D

I have plans soon to go out with one of my buddies and get some video or pics.

I want to get a 8x10 framed of my bike with the front end in the air.
THAT WOULD BE A COOL PICTURE
:D:D:D

Its easy ...even with the stock clutch and 250rear tire ...just pick up some chunkiness and down a few at the local hooch stop .. done it twice was trying to get away so the budds would not see me and my newest riding bud ...:D

I would have to say it is a Ridged thing. I have not ever heard of a soft tail chopper guy saying he can pull the front end up on his bike.

The Ridged models get more torque to the ground instantly without having to load the suspension up first.

I have rode K-9's and Choppers and they do n ot feel like they put the power down to the ground anything like my Ridgeback.

It seems to be the softtail (K-9 & Chopper) guys that like to argue that it is impossible to pull the front end up. And that is probably true on a softy.

I wish I had more money.
This is a wild one. The guy in the far lane hits some one right at the end of his wheelie.

My K-9 has no motor work done on it YET! :D But I can still get down on it hard, and when the pavement provides enough traction I can pull the front end up enough that you can't steer it. I call it "dancing" the front tire. Now granted, that's with NOT using the clutch. Anyone can pull one up using the clutch.
But I really wouldn't want to really lift one too far off the ground, because if you for any reason can't power it down somewhat "softly" you'll risk breaking something, and most likely it will be the neck on the frame on a chopper.

Wheelies are for "crotch rockets", Go Fast are for DOGS! :2thumbs:

dead :D

My 07 Bulldog can pull the front tire of the ground in 1st and 2and gear. Typically when I am the track it is standing up on me. On the street is normally smokes and spins. At 25-30 it will lay rubber and pull up in 2nd off the ground when you rev up and nail it. :D

The soft tail gives to much, but I know for a fact, the ridged will. Yea haw. Second gear about 25 mph, dump the clutch and hang on.
