HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCE WITH USING SYNTHETIC OIL in drive train.
I have been using the synthetic , since I bought my 2001 fat boy.
Now I got K( and wanted to replace with it. It pays off in long run..
HAS ANY ONE had an experience...??..

engine--yes
primary-- choose for yourself, information says that syn. will not let the fibers and plates release well enough on the clutches. some have good luck, some not so good.

I think the over all consensus has been the of use synthetic is great but most dont use it in the primary:2thumbs:

amsoil : engine
spectro : transmission
b&m trick shift : primary (non synthetic)

I was just on royal purple sight today checking this very question out. They say it's alright.

Used synthetic for 12 years in engine and trans, not in primary. Good luck here with that combination.
