Hey BWG56 could you possibly point me in the right direction with where to locate one. I've looked online with zero luck so far.

Yes, but I think if you hold a solder gun to it you should be able to get that solder off your contact

I would have to say "yes" It might take a little skill with a soldering gun though. On of the wires broke off in my solenoid and MrWright advised me that I could fix it. Unhook the battery, and pull the end plate from solenoid then the "plunger" solder it back to the little wres und it should be good to g
