Can someone help me out!

While me and the fellas were out for a ride about a week or so ago, I lost my left side battery box cover. Does anyone know where I can get one a.s.a.p!! Please help! missing some good riding. I live in Virginia near D.C.

more than likely, you lost the cover because the mounting tabs were broken, which is a common problem known about by the factory. check with the local dealer and have them file a claim with the company and they should replace it/them free of charge. now, as far as fast goes, it could take a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on the paint.

Good point Woodbutcher worth a try....took mine to the shop saturday for a clutch problem (still there..no word yet) and the first thing the tech did was remove the seat and check to see if I had any cracks. Told me he had the kits in stock and would install the new pins. Mine wasn't cracked either.

If ya dont want to be riding half naked buy one and paint it as close to match as you can while you wait for the factory replacement. Then put that one ya bought on E-Bay I Guarantee it will sell!!:2thumbs:

I would go on ebay or to one of our supporters here like Nelson at wicked basterd cycles for the temp replacement
 
Thanks all. But I've been on ebay and have not found one. Hoat thanks for the offer and I just might have to take you up!!! Cause I cant ride my dog half naked. Man! this really bites the big one, ya know!!!

Could always fabricate a tin cover and paint it black till the new one comes in. Stop by Lowe's and pickup a flue vent tube. You can pretty much fab something up in half an hour. At least you'll be riding.

humm... maybe some ductape!
