Took off the primary cover and saw this. Can someone explain why it is rubbing like that? Picture attached.

Pull the clutch and see if the hub nut is coming loose. If it's tight, the input bearing is going bad in the trans

Do you think the input bearing would go bad considering the bike only has 11,000 miles on it?
I'm guessing it the hub nut has come loose, and letting the clutch basket ride over and hit the cover.
This is a bike with 9600miles on it, that the bearing was bad.
Of course, he is pushing a 145 hp, and doesn't ride it nicely.

I was riding yesterday and it was not wanting to shift when i came to a stop. It was acting like it was in neutral but i couldnt get it in first or second. There were a couple times where I had to pull the shifter with my right hand while the left held in the clutch. Super awkward. It would jerk into gear when i yanked on it with my hand pretty hard. You think that's because the clutch was rubbing the primary cover?

Yes, when the cover was off, did ya check the clutch hub nut? and since the cover is off it would be a good time to check the chain tension also, 5/8"-7/8" movement up/down. If you tightened the clutch hub nut you should be able to feel if the bearing is bad by being able to move the clutch pack up/down.
