Camshaft profile?

I have a 2008 Mutt, 117cid, G carb, V&H Big Radius pipes. Motor never been opened up! Can anyone tell me what cam came in this motor, and what I can move up to without spring replacement and or piston fly cutting? (Bolt in) I was told it has emissions cam that is short duration that requires high lift springs.

Others here will know for sure, but I would guess your cam is a 546, after reading a 1000 posts here on cam changes, I think you can go to a 585 without any other modifications.

If you are not going to raise the compression the 585 that Aspen is recommending is a good choice. The overlap on the 600 kills your dynamic compression ratio.
