Campfire Story about the reason We celebrate Christmas:
Gathered around the campfire, the old silver haired big dog rider chopper rider began to tell this story about the story of Christmas as the people gathered around the fire to warm. He tells them you know this was talked about years and years before it even happened. The people of that time were looking forward the events the prophets of that day told them were going to happen.
All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’). For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!
Many years later the Christ child was born and all the things they had been told years before came true in the birth of this baby they named Jesus.
God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!]” Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean. “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!” Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she’s now in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.”At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. (This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. He took with him Mary, his fiancée, who was now obviously pregnant. And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. She gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.
Eight days later, when the baby was circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel even before he was conceived.
This is the reason we celebrate Christmas. For God loved all the people of the world so much, (not just the Big Dog riders even thou they think they are special, but the HD, even the rice burners too, and even all the people that don’t have a scooter at all,)that God gave us His only begotten Son, so that everyone that believes in Him will definitely receive eternal life.
Later in Jesus’ life He told all the people around Him that day, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is.From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”
This is the reason we celebrate Christmas boys and girls!!!

May God Bless you all!!!
