Cam Sensor

I need some advice for my 2004 Bif Dog Mastiff. I have replaced the wiring with the Wireplus system, but I continue to burn out cam sensors. I have been using 32400-80A sensors on my bike, which is for the Harley Evo. I was told this is the correct sensor some time back. Anyone with any idea why I keep having to replace this part. I am on my 4th or 5th one in less than a 1000 miles.

I"am having the EXCAT SAME ISSUE's with my bike, and it is totally fuc*ing pissing me off lately:angry::angry:....the problem is excessive HEAT SOAKING the sensor........what I recently did was buy another Cam Sensor:bang:, wrap my pipes with Thermo-tech Hedder Wrap, and use Thermo-Tech Heat reflective tape inside the nosecone,to get rid off any excess heat I can.....
Maybe give that a shot....I also modified a points cover to allow for airflow over the sensor while riding,so far so good.....but who knows...........Me and Curtis From WSW have a idea on modifying these Cam sensors to help with the Heat-soak issue.....not saying anything else about that till its done:D.....

Would be nice if someone made a timing conversion kit to SHITCAN these miserable fuc*ing Cam Sensors and convert to a Crank Sensor Triggered Ignition:bang::bang::angry::angry:.......

Good Luck.........:)

Lots of threads here on this. It stems from heat off the exhaust pipes. Some sensors work better than others.

Although this thread didn't get an update I would be willing to bet he popped in a new cam sensor and sold it. Or took it to a mechanic

I guess we will never know. I hope you can sleep tonight okay?
